THE BIBLE: We believe the Holy Bible of the Old and
New Testaments to be the inspired, inerrant, infallible, eternal Word of
God, the sole authority for faith and life.
THE GODHEAD: We believe in the eternal existence of
the Godhead in three Persons: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
JESUS: We believe that Jesus is the eternal Son of God
who was born of the virgin Mary, the perfect God man, who died on the
cross in our place as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world,
was buried, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven.
CHRIST’S RETURN: We believe that Jesus Christ will
literally return in the air before the 7- year Tribulation Period to
rapture all believers and that He will literally come back to earth at
the close of the Tribulation Period to set up His 1,000 year Millennial
Kingdom on earth.
MAN: We believe that man was created in the image of
God but that through the first man, Adam, man fell so that all are
sinners and need salvation.
SALVATION: We believe that salvation is the gift of
God received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone –
through faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone whose precious blood was
shed on Calvary’s cross for the forgiveness of sins.
HOLY SPIRIT: We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts
unbelievers of their need for salvation and that He permanently
regenerates, indwells, baptizes, and seals all believers, and that He is
the Comforter and Guide who lives permanently in every believer.
ASSURANCE: We believe that every person who receives
Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is secure for all of eternity.
ETERNITY: We believe in the bodily resurrection of all
men, the saved to eternal life in heaven and the unsaved to eternal
punishment in hell.
ORDINANCES: We believe that two ordinances are given
to the church: The Lord’s Supper and water baptism by immersion and that
they are reserved for and to be observed by those who profess faith in
Jesus Christ.
MISSIONS: We believe that all who are saved are to
witness by their life and by word and to seek to proclaim the gospel to
the whole world. |
